"808" is an R&B song released in 1999 by American R&B Vocal trio, Blaque. "808" was released as the lead single from Blaque's self-titled debut album Blaque. "808" was a success in the United States becoming the group's first top ten hit peaking at number-eight on the Billboard Hot 100, and also peaked at number-six on the New Zealand RIANZ singles chart.[1] It benefited heavily from airplay of its remix, which samples LL Cool J's 1988 song "Going Back to Cali".
The music video has a cameo of the late Lisa Lopes of TLC.
